He used bright yellow ribbon on the edges and the seam between the wool pieces. Both the side and bottom feature beaded designs the crafter made with White Seed Beads. On the yellow ribbon trim, the crafter attached pairs of Baby Blue Seed beads. He lined the inside with a floral patterned fabric.
Native Americans from the Northeast wear peaked caps or hoods like these. Crafters often decorate them with beads or ribbonwork, but they can also leave them plain. This Hood Beaded Red & Blue measures 19.5 inches to the top of the peak and 8.75 inches wide (lying flat). This Hood is in new condition. One of a Kind!

It features a loomwork panel with a geometric design that uses Greasy Yellow, Green, Clear Red and Clear Blue Seed Beads on the front. Andy edged the sheath with Maroon ribbon and White Seed Beads. Strands of White and Navy Blue Pony Beads serve as fringe. Red wool tufts finish this piece. You will love the superb craftsmanship evident in this piece.

A crafter created this Antique Beaded Pin Cushion Whimsy in a spade shape. The artist used clear, transparent yellow, green and red, blue and navy blue seed beads with gray and blue basket beads to make the raised pictorial design. They used basket and seed beads to make the tassels. The whimsy has some bead loss and fading on the fabric. Red fabric lines the sides with clear beads. The dark brown polished cotton back has some fading. A previous owner used this cushion, and it still has a pin in it.
This whimsy is a classic example of Beaded Whimsy tourist souvenirs. Native American crafters in the border regions between Canada and the United States at the turn of the 20th century created many of these whimsies for the tourist trade. This Pin Cushion will make an unusual addition to your antique or whimsy collection!

Another fabulous creation by Master Craftsman Andy Bullock! Andy created this 7.5″ diameter Lazy Stitch Rosette and then turned it into a bag! He used soft Braintanned Leather Deerskin for the Rosette and the back of the bag. For the handle, he wrapped a piece of wool Broadcloth accentuated with White, Clear Blue, Mustard and Periwinkle Seed Beads.
These bead colors are a feast for the eyes! For the main part of the Rosette, Andy used Mustard, Green, Clear Red, Periwinkle, Clear Blue and White Seed Beads. Then Andy continued with Clear Blue, Clear Red and Periwinkle Seed Beads around the edge of the Bag. The top of the Bag features a little beaded peak.
Additional features include Antique Trade Beads, Greasy Yellow Pony Beads and Hawk bells strung on Braintanned Deerskin Leather fringe that attaches the handle to the bag.
The Bag measures approximately 7.75″ in diameter. The handle adds 4″ to the overall length.

A crafter created this Beaded Picture Frame Whimsy around 1900. It is a classic example of a Beaded Whimsy tourist souvenir. Native American crafters in the border regions between Canada and the United States at the turn of the 20th century created many of these whimsies for the tourist trade.
This antique whimsy is a very unique shape for a picture frame. The artist chose Clear Seed Beads for most of the raised floral design and on the bottom loops and used gray basket beads. Polished cotton in a reddish color covers the front and silk covers the back and the inside of the pocket. Green fabric covers the edges. In some places you can see the paper used for the design.
This Whimsy came from a previous owner, but it remains in good condition. You will see some bead loss and places where the fabric has torn or worn away. Additionally, one of the hanging loops on the top is broken with some bead loss. This Beaded Whimsy will make an unusual addition to your antique or whimsy collection!
It measures approx. 7″ tall x 6″ wide not including the beaded loops. The picture place measures 3.25″ x 2.25″.

This Black Wool Blanket features a 7.5″ Beaded Rosette. Master Craftsman Andy Bullock created this Beaded Blanket. He used Pony Beads in Pony Trader Blue, White Center Cranberry, Cobalt Blue, Mustard and White to create the Rosette. He attached it to Braintanned Deerskin Leather and added a twisted Braintanned Deerskin Leather drop in the center. He strung the drop with Blue, White and White Center Cranberry Crow Beads with two Antique Trade Beads at the bottom.
The Blanket measures 50″ x 61″. The Rosette is attached at the center and measures 7.5″ in diameter. The Drop measures 17″ long. Keep this Blanket as is, or add your own beadwork to make a Blanket Strip. One of a Kind!
Gorgeous Bead Colors and Braintanned Deerskin Leather make this Apache Style Bag the perfect addition to your collection! The crafter created geometric designs and borders with Pony Trader Blue, Black, White, White Center Red and Transparent Amber, Blue, Red, Pale Green, Blue and Clear Seed Beads. He or she added 6″ of beaded Fringe in Royal Blue, White and Transparent Red Seed Beads. Three dimensional edge beading in Pony Trader Blue, White Center Red and White Seed Beads appears around the opening of the Bag. Deerskin Leather Lacing serves as a drawstring closure.
This Bag measures 10″ x 6″ not including the Fringe. It was made around 1950. You will see some Bead loss around the edges and the fringe. The main beaded design is intact. The leather is a bit brittle. It is in very good condition for its age. One of a Kind!
This large Horn Spoon comes with a beaded handle and two beaded drops. The crafter used White, Blue, White Center Red, Arapaho Green and Mustard colored Seed Beads to wrap the handle. He covered two pieces of Deerskin Leather with more Seed Beads and attached antiqued Tin Cones and Red Wool to the ends for drops.
Several Native American tribes created horn spoons from Sheep or Elk horn. They removed the outer part of the horn and carved it. Then they softened it in hot water to further modify the shape. Sometimes they decorated them with carvings.
This spoon is for decorative purposes. It remains in very good condition, missing only a couple of Beads.
It measures about 12″ long. The bowl measures approximately 5.5″ long x 2.5″ wide. The beadwork on the handle measures just about 2.5″ long and the drops are 7″ long. One of a Kind!
Carry your treasures in this small Beaded Pink Velveteen Purse! The crafter made it with an unusual ‘wrinkled’ pink velveteen with a floral sateen lining. He or she beaded floral designs on the front flap and the back with Seed Beads in White, Clear, Trans Red, Cheyenne Pink, Trans Teal, Pumpkin, Trans Amber, Pony Trader Blue, and Turquoise. Around the edges, the crafter added Clear Seed Bead loops. The purse closes with a metal hook & thread loop.
This purse measures 5.25″ x 3.25″ when closed. You will see some staining on the inside and a couple of the bead loops have come unfastened. Otherwise there doesn’t seem to be any bead loss.
This Single Beaded Leggin features a Lazy Stitch geometric design on Smoke colored Leather with a cotton fabric top. The crafter created this Leggin around 1970. He used White, Red, Dark Red, Cobalt Blue, Yellow, Orange and an iridescent Amber Seed Beads to create the design. He cut 1″ long fringe on one side.
There is only one of these Leggins and it was exposed to a heavy dust that has discolored both the Beads and the Leather on half of it. Besides the discoloration, there are a few spots where the Beads have come loose. You could use it for the basis for a beaded Pipe Bag or other accessory.
It measures 22″ long overall. The leather measures 13″ long and 6″ wide at the bottom cuff. The beadwork section measures 14″ x 6.5″ (some of it is covered by the flap). One of a Kind!

This Otoe Style Beaded Blanket Strip features a colorful floral design made in the 1970s – 1980s. The crafter beaded this strip with Seed Beads in Transparent Royal Blue, Light Blue, Green, Dark Red, White and Greasy Yellow. This piece is unique as it is not made with rosettes. The strip measures approx. 51″ long and 4.5″ wide. One of a Kind!
The Native Americans of the Central Plains created Beaded Blanket Strips in the mid 19th century. Blanket Strips originated as a means to cover the seam when two Braintanned Buffalo Hides were sewn together to create one large robe. Eventually, Native American crafters began to use wool Trade Blankets for robes. They added their beaded strips to them in a purely decorative manner.

The Ojibwa Bead Loom is the most popular, rugged loom on the market. Real wood construction makes it sturdy and easy to use. We developed this loom based on traditional looms used by Native Americans.
This loom accommodates beadwork up to 5″ wide and 40″ long. It comes with 18″ long dowels. You can move the beaded strip around the ends of the loom for longer pieces. You can also add longer dowels for even larger projects.

This delightful Antique Needle Case Beaded Red will make a welcome addition to your collection! The crafter made it with Red fabric bound with silk ribbon. He or she created a three dimensional floral design on both sides using Clear Seed beads and Clear Basket Beads. Clear Seed Bead loops decorate the edges. Inside you will find two fabric leaves that still have some needles in them. The crafter lined the inside with a dark red fabric.
There is no obvious bead loss on this case. You will see moth damage to the outside red fabric. There is some discoloration on the inside. The case measures about 3.25 inches x 3 inches at the widest points. We do not recommended that you use this case for needles. It will make a beautiful display piece. One of a Kind!

Pieces of oil tanned Leather Lacing serve as ties.
This Headband measures 20″ long x 1.5″ wide, not including the beaded loops or the Leather Lacing ties. The ties measure 9″ long. and the loops add another inch to the width. You will notice a couple of the beaded loops have come off the the top. These could be replaced or you can wear the headband as is.

Our Great Lakes Style Loom Beaded Knife Sheath features bright colored designs and beaded fringe! Master Craftsman Andy Bullock created this Knife Sheath in a 19th century Great Lakes style. The Old color beads add fantastic, colorful detail. He added edge beading to the top and one side in Royal Blue Seed Beads. Additionally, he added Clear Yellow Seed Bead trim.
Andy lined the Knife Sheath with Strap Leather. He created the strap from an old Wool Blanket. He trimmed the strap with Blue Ribbon and White Seed Beads.
The Knife Sheath measures 14″ long x 3″ wide. The beaded fringe with Red Wool Tassels measure 4″ long. The Wool Strap measures 23″ long x 1″ wide.
