Nicely made Carving - Soapstone Seal is ready to grace your shelf or desk! The artist made it from soapstone and polished it. He neatly etched in the eyes, whiskers, flipper and tail. He also etched his name on the bottom - Paul Osee E6-243.Native Americans from the Arctic North and Northwest consider seals to be symbols of plenty, safety and innocence.
The Soapstone Seal belonged to a previous owner so it shows some scratches.
It measures 4" long overall and 1.5" tall at the head.
