Decorated Flat Turkey Feather Fan

This Fan Flat Turkey showcases  colorful detailing.  The crafter made it with southern Turkey Tail Feathers with the white tops.  He accented these with colorful Macaw Feathers, red and orange feather tips and cut off red and orange feather fluffs.  The crafter added orange and red tips to the tops of the feathers as well.  Further accents include White Leather dots and a Waterbird and a heart shaped cutouts, and sequins.

The crafter attached these to a White Leather wrapped handle.  He wrapped gold thread around the handle and cut the bottom of the leather into short fringe.  At the bottom he attached 9.5″ long twisted fringe.  The fan measures 14.5″ long not including the fringe.  A previous owner used this fan so you will see discoloration on the leather.  It remains in very good, usable condition.
