Round Pottery Bowl with handle

This polychrome Pottery Bowl with Handle features its own built in handle.  The potter created it with terra cotta colored clay.  He or she covered it with a buff colored slip.  Then the potter painted geographic designs on the sides in black.  The lower part of the pot is painted with a red slip.  The potter also painted the outside of the handle and the rim of the pot with black.

This bowl stands 7.5 inches tall and the opening measures 5.75 inches in diameter. The base measures about  3 inches in diameter.  We got this pot from a collection.  You will see dust, small scratches and signs of wear.

This Pottery Bowl with Handle will make a unique addition to your collection.  Or use it to hold dry flower arrangements or small items.  One of a Kind!
