Silk Embroidered‑Vamp Moccasins

Add these Vintage Moccasins – Embroidered Vamps to your collection. The crafter made them in the Cree Style in the mid 20th century. They used Braintanned deer hide and lined the sides and top with fabric for added structure. They edged the vamp with twisted yellow and green embroidery floss and worked a floral embroidered pattern in green, red, purple, light blue, and pink using silk thread. The crafter also added purple velvet around the cuffs and front. The moccasins remain in good condition for their age and could still be worn. These vintage moccasins also make a nice addition to your collection.

They measure approx. 10″ long , 3′ wide and 2″ high.
