Quilled Santee Style Moccasins

These antique Moccasin- Quilled Santee Style feature a quilled floral‑design vamp.  The crafter made them with Braintanned deerskin leather. They built them with hard soles and a clean 2‑inch cuff for a classic profile.  The design follows the Santee Sioux style, known for its vibrant quillwork. You will see a few holes on the back of the moccasin cuffs. Some of the quills are missing and a previous owner colored the areas where quills were missing to match the original hues, creating a more uniform appearance. Collectors will value the craftsmanship, the traditional materials, and the strong visual presence these moccasins bring to any collection.

These moccasins measure approximately 9.5 inches long and 3 inches wide at the widest point (approx. Women’s  size 8).  One of a Kind.
