Try on this 12-inch White Roach for size, or add it to your collection. The artisan crafted the outer row with white deer hair and strung one full row of white hair along with one and a half rows of porcupine hair on a yarn base. The front hair stands approximately 6 inches high.

This White Roach measures approximately 12 inches long and 3 inches wide at its widest point. We acquired this piece from a collection. Although previously owned, it remains in like-new condition.

One of a Kind!

Porcupine hair roaches are a traditional form of headwear used in Native American dance regalia. You can secure the roach by pulling a small hair braid (or scalplock) through the center opening and fastening it with a roach pin. A roach spreader may also be used for additional support.
