This Quirt Etched Deer Bone features engraved designs on both sides.  The crafter made it from a Deer Leg bone. He braided Braintanned Deerskin leather lacing for the lash.  The Deer Bone measures 8 inches long.  The lash  measures 20 inches long.  One of A Kind!

Quirts are short riding whips found among people who herd cattle or sheep. They usually come with a braided leather lash. The crafter made this Quirt for a Powwow accessory, rather than a ranching tool.  We got this item from a collection.  You will find it in good, usable condition.  Use it as a powwow accessory or add it to your collection.  One of a Kind!
