Eagle Head Carved from Deer Antler
This detailed Eagle Head Carving will make an unique addition to your collection! The carver used natural Deer Antler to create this Eagle head with an open mouth and extended tongue. He did not paint or polish the carving. The artist mounted the carving to a piece of wood with a metal brad. We think this particular piece was imported.
Antler carving has a long history, dating back to the time when people carved antlers into tools and weapons. Today, antler carving is a popular hobby and art form enjoyed by many people around the world. It requires patience, skill, and creativity, and can result in beautiful and unique pieces of art that can be treasured for years to come.
The Eagle Head measures about 6″ long and 1″ in diameter. It stands about 3″ tall on the base. We got the carving from a collection. It is in excellent condition. One of a Kind!
