Basket- Ash Large

This vintage Basket- Ash Large will make an attractive storage piece and a standout addition to your basket collection. The maker wove it with natural ash splints and splints dyed brown and red to create a simple, classic design. One of the wooden handles has broken. You’ll notice some fading on the colored splints along the exterior, and there are a few light stains from age and use.  There are also a few splints that have cracked.

The basket stands 9 inches high, and measures an impressive 24 inches long by 14 inches wide. It came from a private collection and remains in good condition.
