This early 1900s Whimsy- Pair showcases rich beadwork and handcrafted detail that immediately draws the eye.

The striking wall pocket features classic raised floral motifs worked in seed beads.  The maker added Clear and Amber bead‑loop tassels to the bottom; a few loops and beads are now missing, consistent with its age.  On the back you will find a red silk backing that shows some wear.  The crafter edge beaded the piece with  White seed beads.  This wall pocket measures approx. 6″ x 5″.

The companion beaded panel was made with deep purple velveteen fabric. The artist crafted a raised beadwork pattern using Clear, Transparent Red, Transparent Yellow, Transparent Green and Periwinkle beads.  Around the outside edge, the crafter created a border with Clear Seed Beads, Pale Blue Basket Beads and White Seed Beads. The back remains unfinished.  Some velveteen has worn away, consistent with its early 20th‑century origins.  Some edge beads are missing, adding to the piece’s vintage character. This beaded panel measures Approx. 7.5″ x 7.5″.
