Pheasant Scalp Feathers with Ermine Accents
This Scalp Feathers – Pheasant & Rosette features two pheasant feathers paired with an open beaded rosette (it doesn’t have a backing on it). The crafter made the rosette with 10/0 seed beads in white, orange, transparent green, navy blue, and red, creating a 1.75‑inch centerpiece. They finished each feather with a red or orange accent feather at the tip. The center is accented with a red sequin. The crafter also added small patches of ermine to both the top and bottom of the scalp feathers.
Each main feather measures 12 inches tall. The crafter wrapped the lower section in white deerskin leather and secured the beaded rosette at the center.
