Braintanned Antique Moccasins with Ribbonwork

These Moccasins Antique Ribbonwork feature both beadwork and ribbonwork.  The crafter made them with light colored Braintanned Deerskin Leather.  The crafter used White, White Center Red, Silver lined Clear, Pink Lined Clear, Greasy Yellow and Transparent Green Seed Beads for the design on the vamps.  Originally the side flaps featured multi colored ribbonwork in Red, Gold and Green.   Most of the ribbons have deteriorated.  The crafter added Edge Beading with White Seed Beads around the flaps.  The moccasins have soft soles.  One of a Kind!

These Moccasins Antique Ribbonwork measure about 11 inches long x 4.5 inches at the widest point.  They stand about 4 inches tall.  We got these moccasins from a collection. The beadwork remains intact with lots of sparkle. They do not show much sign of wear, though the ribbonwork has mostly worn away, as mentioned.  They will make a unique addition to your collection!  One of a Kind!
