Canoe Cup
We offer handmade Canoe Cups created to look like historically attested cups. Our crafter makes them from a variety of reclaimed wood. He scrapes out the interiors and oils them with food grade walnut oil. These cups make perfect drinking vessels for Living History Re-enactors. Each one comes with a hole for a carrying strap or hanging hook.
Native Americans and Voyageurs used cups like these as convenient drinking vessels. With the hole in the handle, a string or piece of leather lacing allowed them to attach a cup to their belts. They carved these cups from the burls of trees, which had a rounded shape.
These Canoe Cups are made by hand exclusively for us! Because wood types differ, please expect variations.
Each Cup measures approx. 6.5″ x 1.75″ overall. The bowl measures approx. 4″ x 4″.
