Pottery- Santa Domingo Bowl

This Santa Domingo pottery bowl will make a fine addition to your collection. The small bowl is handcrafted in a scalloped shape with a handle. The potter hand‑coiled the vase and covered it with a white slip base. They then added floral designs to the exterior in red and black slip, and finished the rim with a band of black slip. This ceremonial bowl, with its scalloped rim, is a fine example of  Santa Domingo craftwork.

The previous owner repaired the handle. The bowl measures 6 inches wide by 4 inches high.  One of a Kind!
