The basket maker used natural colored Ash Splints and a band of sweetgrass on the edge of the cover to make the smaller basket. The sweetgrass edge on the cover does have a break in it. This basket measures 2.25″ tall and the opening measures 2.5″ in diameter.
The larger Braided Sweetgrass Basket with Handle will make a find addition to your collection or you can use it to store crafting supplies! The basket maker made it with Sweetgrass, Natural Ash and Brown dyed Splints. Braided sweetgrass decorates the sides and cover. The basket maker used strands of sweetgrass to create beautifully braided handle. This Basket measures 5″ high with the lid on x 5.5″ wide. It is in very good condition with no breaks in the splints. One of a Kind!
