Antique 1850s Painted‑Ash Splint Basket

Add this Antique Basket- Ash painted Splints to your basket collection.  This antique basket features 1.5‑inch ash splints painted in red and yellow, creating a bold, early design. It measures approximately 12 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 6.25 inches tall. The wood handles rise about 1 inch above the rim. We estimate it was made in the 1850s.  This piece remains in great shape for its age, showing the craftsmanship and durability of early ash‑splint work.  You will see some broken splits, especially at the corners.
