Basket- Ash Large Stamped

This Antique Basket- Ash Large Stamped makes a beautiful addition to any basket collection. The weaver added hand‑stamped designs in several areas, along with a few additional decorative elements that give the piece extra charm. The makers crafted both the basket and its lid from natural ash splints, creating a warm, traditional look. The lid and bottom remain intact, though a few splints have cracked or broken with age. The lid is oversized—possibly from another basket. The basket stands 11 inches high with the lid on.  It measures 18 inches long by 15 inches wide. We acquired it from a collection, and it remains in good condition, though it isn’t suited for holding heavy items.
