Moccasins- Braintan Center Seam

These Seneca‑style Moccasins- Braintan Center Seam—showcase classic Seneca construction, made entirely from smoked Braintanned Deerskin. The artisan combined machine stitching with hand‑sewn work to give the moccasins both comfort and flexibility. A beadwork design wraps fully around the cuffs. The crafter used white, red, transparent purple, clear, light blue, yellow, and white‑center red seed beads on a wool backing trimmed with red silk ribbon. Then the crafter added three dimensional edge beading in White Seed Beads all around the cuffs. Unlined and supple, these moccasins offer a natural feel.

The beaded cuffs add character, and although they have been worn, they remain in good condition with plenty of life left. They measure approximately 10.5 inches long, 4 inches wide at the broadest point, and the cuffs stand 4.5 inches tall. Truly one of a kind.
