Floral Beaded Bag

This Antique floral beaded bag is made with well‑tanned, very soft Braintanned Deerskin. It was made in the early 20th century. The crafter made this bag with a drawstring top and beaded different floral designs on each side. The beadwork features Black, Transparent Light Green, Greasy Yellow, Cheyenne Pink, Transparent Dark Green, White‑Center Red, Transparent Amber, Pumpkin and Black‑and‑White striped beads. The crafter added 0.25‑inch beaded tassels around the outside edge and a row of multicolored edge beading to the top of the bag. Some of the white‑center red beads in the floral motifs have fallen away over time as the beads broke down. You will see that a few of the tassels are missing as well. This bag measures approx. 4 inches by 3.5 inches.
