Whimsy Pillow with Bird Design Antique Beaded
This Beaded Bird Whimsy Pillow features designs in transparent Pony Beads. The crafter made this beaded pillow with purple velveteen and a natural colored cotton material in the early 1900’s . Then he or she created the beaded botanical and bird designs with Clear, Transparent Green, Transparent Yellow, Transparent Red, Transparent Pink and Transparent Blue Pony Beads. Gray, Green and Red Basket Beads accent the designs. The scalloped edges feature edge beading and beaded loops of Clear Pony Beads. The crafter backed the pillow with natural colored polished cotton. The pillow measures approximately 9.75 inches x 8 inches. It is about 2 1/2″ inches thick. You will see very little bead loss, especially along the top edge. The velveteen is worn in places on the front. You will see discoloration and stains on the natural colored fabric. One of a Kind!
