Bag Antique Apache Style
Add this fabulous Antique Apache Style Beaded Bag to your collection! Note the unusual top closure. A beaded cover slides down the Deerskin Leather Lacing handle to close the Bag. The crafter used Pony Trader Blue, Alabaster, Cobalt Blue and White Center Red Seed Beads to create the geometric design. He also added edge beading in Pony Trader Blue and Alabaster to the sides of the bag and the bottom edge of the cover.
On the bottom you will see 0.5″ antiqued Tin Cones hanging from Deerskin Leather Lacing fringe.
This Antique Beaded Bag is in remarkable condition for its age (late 1800s). Any bead loss looks like it is due to the old Beads breaking, rather than coming undone. Some of the longer fringe pieces have detached from the bag. This Bag is intact, but in fragile condition.
This Bag measures 4.5″ long (not including the fringe) x 3.5″ wide at the widest point.
