Scalp Feathers with Beaded Rosette Accent

This Scalp Feathers – Beaded Rosette feature two white turkey feathers that the crafter hand‑painted to resemble hawk feathers. The crafter created the rosette with 11/0 seed beads in yellow, white, orange, light blue, navy blue, and red, creating a 1.5‑inch centerpiece.  He topped each hand‑painted feather with a red accent feather at the which stands approximately 2.5 inches tall.

The crafter added five tiny white leather dots to the front of the feathers and painted each dot blue, creating a subtle, traditional accent that enhances the overall design.

Each main feather measures 10.5 inches long. The crafter wrapped the lower section in white deerskin leather and added thread wrapping in two lines—one red and one gold. They secured the beaded rosette at the center to create a balanced, traditional presentation.
