Roach Hair Base 12 inch
This 12 Inch Hair Base Roach is well constructed with one full row and two half rows of very small hair bundles of porcupine hair and colored Deer Hair. It was made during the 1940’s or 1950’s. The hair measures 8 inches tall with an inner row of red hair measuring approx. 3 inches.
Hair Base Roaches are an early form of roaches. Construction is a long process or tying hundreds of bundles of hair then sewing them together to form the base. This is a fine example of this type of construct.
