Hand‑Stamped Star & Moon Scarf Slide

This unique handmade Scarf Slide – Star & Moon will make a fabulous addition to your accessories. The crafter created the round slide from German Silver with the stamped outline of a crescent moon at the bottom.  He created a cutout star design in the center.  Then he added a hand‑stamped brass circle to the center of the star and a thin brass moon shape to the center of the stamped moon design.  On the back, the crafter soldered a smooth metal loop so your scarf can glide through with ease.  He also stamped an S on the back as a maker’s mark. The slide measures approximately 2.25″ in diameter, offering a compact yet bold size for regalia, bandanas, or neckerchiefs.

German silver scarf slides trace their history to 18th‑century Europe, where metalworkers developed nickel silver for bright, durable ornamentation. By the 19th century, the alloy appeared in jewelry, buckles, and small fittings, which helped establish its role in modern accessories.
