Regalia Women’s Southern Plains

This Regalia Women’s Southern Plains comes with two overdresses and complementary wrap skirts.  Wear either set with the included Southern Plains style Breastplate and Concho Belt.

The Navy Blue overdress features a star-like print and tabs that hang from the bottom.  The seamstress made it in a women’s size 12.  The dress measures 44 inches long and 21 inches wide at the chest (measured flat).  The drop sleeves measure 11 inches long and 10 inches wide.  The neck opening measures 12 inches across.  It comes with a Rose Pink color wrap skirt has 7.5 inch long Navy Blue fringe.  It measures 20 inches long (not including the fringe) and 64 inches wide.

The Tan overdress is a women’s size 14.  The seamstress used a Tan calico fabric with a snap front closure for the dress.  It measures 39.5 inches long and 23.5 inches wide at the chest (measured flat).  The drop sleeves measure 12 inches long x 10 inches wide.  The seamstress made the accompanying wrap skirt from a silky amber colored fabric.  She added 7 inch long Black Fringe to the bottom.  The skirt has some elastic in the waist and several safety pins for closures.  It measures 22 inches long (not including the fringe) and 68 inches wide.

Additional Accessories

Wear either of these with the Southern Plains style Breastplate.  The crafter made it with 1.5 inch plastic hairpipe and 3.5 inch Bone hairpipe.  He strung these with Amber, Turquoise, Royal Blue and Clear Fire Polish Beads and fluted hollow Nickel Beads.  At the bottom, the crafter added Hawk Bells.

Finally, the set comes with a strap leather Concho Belt with a drop.  The Saddle Strap leather belt measures approx. 36 inches long and 3 inches wide and has 2.5 inch German Silver Conchos.  It ties with Deerskin Leather Lacing ties.  The attached drop comes with German Silver Conchos that graduate from 2 inches to 1 inch.  The drop measures 35 inches long and graduates from 2 inches wide to 1 inch in width.

We got this set from a collection.  You will see signs of wear.  It is in good, wearable condition.  One of a Kind!
