Root Burl Club
Native Americans sought out young birch trees to use their root ends to make spiky clubs. This club comes from a Natural Birch tree with a burl at the root. A crafter created this vintage Root Burl Club sometime in the early 20th Century. He or she painted it red in places and carved grooves on the handle.The remains of the roots make a spiky end. Some of the bark remains near the roots.
This Club Measures 21" long and approx. 5" wide across the top.
