Parfleche Envelopes Group Lot
SOLD This Parfleche Envelopes Group Lot are decorative and practical! Use them for display or storage. The artist used traditionally made, whitened rawhide to create each envelope. Next they folded the top and bottom over and stitched the sides with Braintanned Deerskin Leather Lacing. On the smaller ones they added Blue wool fabric to the sides. Then they added hand painted geometric designs in red, green, blue, yellow, and teal on the fronts of the parfleches. Braintanned Deerskin Leather fringe adorns the sides of the two larger ones. All four envelopes come with Braintanned Deerskin Leather Lace tie closures and loops on the back for hanging.The Parfleche Envelopes Group Lot come in different sizes. The larger parfleche measures approximately 7.5" long by 7" high. The next largest measures approximately 7.25" x 7". The fringe on the sides measures between 8.75" and 13" long. The smaller parfleches measure approximately 9" long by 4.5" high and 7.5" x 4". These parfleches remain in excellent condition. We are selling them as a group lot. One of a Kind!
