Necklace – Northern Plains Loop
Necklace - Northern Plains Loop
Master Craftsman Andy Bullock created this Northern Plains Loop Necklace as a reproduction of a 19th century Native American regalia accessory.Native Americans of the Plains wore Loop Necklaces as an alternative to Hairpipe Breastplates. Crow and Blackfeet Indians popularized Loop Necklaces. They are very appropriate for any Traditional Northern Style Dance Regalia.
Andy made this Northern Plains Loop Necklace with 2" Horn Hairpipe, Light Blue, Clear Blue, Yellow and Red Crow Beads, and Deerskin Leather Fringe. He attached Conch Shell Conchos and Braintanned Deerskin Leather tassels with Tin Cones.
This Northern Plains Loop Necklace measures 12" wide excluding the fringe.
