Navajo Weaver Doll

Navajo Weaver Doll
This Navajo Weaver Doll demonstrates the process of traditional rug weaving with her miniature loom!  She weaves a brown and cream colored rug. The doll wears a brown velveteen top and a red skirt. She wears a necklace of seed beads. Her hair is drawn up into a traditional bun. She sits on a silky Goat's hair hide with her baby by her side. The crafter applied her facial features with ink.
She used to live at another house, but she remains in good condition, just a little dusty. A mark on the bottom of the platform may be a maker's mark.
We do not know how old she is. But you will find her a fun conversation piece or treasured addition to a doll collection.
The Navajo Weaver display measures 8" high x 6" long x 5.5" wide. The doll herself measures 4.5" from the base to the top of her head.
