Moccasins- Quilled Vamps
SOLD These Moccasins- Quilled Vamps made with Moosehide showcase beautiful multi colored quillwork. The crafter used Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple and Natural Porcupine Quills to make the quilled panel. He attached deep red wool cuffs. He then added edge beading with White Pony Beads and Seed Beads around the cuffs and the quillwork. These are traditional center seam moccasins that the crafter sewed by hand with imitation sinew ( Wax coated nylon thread). The wool extends to the bottom of the moccasins. While they exhibit noticeable signs of wear, these moccasins are still in very good condition. They are large and measure approximately 11.5 inches in length by 4 inches in width, and 3.75 inches high.
