Moccasins High Top Wool Uppers
These Wool and Leather Hight Top Moccasins demonstrate utilitarian craftwork. They feature beaded wool vamps and wool tops. The tops are a combination of White and Navy Blue Wool. The crafter combined a floral and geometric design to decorate the vamp and tops. He or she used White, Red, Clear Light Blue and Purple Seed Beads. They come with a fabric lining. Braided yarn ties complete the pair.A previous owner wore these Moccasins. Someone removed a trim piece about 1/3 of the way down the top. You will see significant moth damage and missing wool especially on one Moccasin. You will also see holes in the heels of both Moccasins. There is some minor Bead loss. They could be a repair project or a source of Beads for another project.
These Mukluks measure 14.5" tall. The foot measures 9.5" long x 4" wide.
