Moccasins - Beaded Plains Style
These Men's Moccasins are fully Beaded Plains style. These hard sole moccasins were made circa 1970's the craftsman sewed the uppers from off white Braintanned Deerskin Leather. They used more of the same material to add cuffs, vamps, and laces. The soles are made with rawhide. They lazy stitched the geometric beadwork designs with Red, Navy Blue, Periwinkle, and White Seed Beads. There has been no major bead loss except for along the inside heel of the left moccasin.These moccasins measure 11" long by 4" wide at the instep. (About a Men's size 13 - 14). They stand about 2 3/4" high at the cuff.
A previous owner wore these Beaded hard sole moccasins. The ties remain intact. The moccasins show soiling and staining but remain in good overall condition. Wear with care or simply admire them!
