Add this Beaded Knife Sheath to your collection!  The crafter made this Knife Sheath with Gold Deerskin Leather.  He beaded the front in a Northern Plains style design.  To create the design, he used White, Turquoise, Clear Green, Royal Blue and Clear Red Seed Beads.  You can still see some of the Yellow Ochre he applied to the unbeaded side of the Knife Sheath.
The crafter added some edge beading to the opening with Turquoise and Clear Red Seed Beads.  Inside, he inserted a Rawhide liner.  He added 1.25" long Deerskin Fringe to the curved side of the Knife Sheath.
Included with this Knife Sheath is a worked over Knife.  Someone has sharpened the blade a lot. You can see the word WOOD stamped on the handle.  Another word probably appeared on it, but someone has sanded it out.  You will see rust marks on the blade.
A previous owner used this Sheath and Knife so you will see signs of wear and soiling, but it remains in usable condition.
The Knife Sheath measures 9" at the longest point and 3" across the top.  The Knife measures 9" long overall with a 4.5" long blade.
