Hair Comb Brass

17th Century Reproduction Brass Hair Comb

SOLD Add this fabulous reproduction Hair Comb Brass to your collection or wear it at your next Living History event!  The crafter used a 200 year old brass kettle as the material for this comb.   He based the design on a style popular in the 17th century.  Thus this piece is new and old at the same time!  The crafter cut four teeth and topped them with a double bird design inside of a scalloped edge box.  He added stamped eyes and decorative dots and a zigzag line to the front.
The comb measures 6.5 inches long overall.  The teeth measure 4.5 inches long.  The top decorative section measures about 2 inches tall and 2 inches across at the widest point.  One of a Kind!
