Concho Dragger with Stamped Conchos & 2 Beaded Tubes

SOLD Don't miss this Concho Dragger Stamped German Silver.  The crafter made this dragger with black wool and a red wool backing.  He attached fifteen graduated Stamped German Silver Conchos to the entire length of it.  The top three conchos measure 2.25 inches in diameter.  The concho sizes graduate down to 1.5 inches in diameter.   The crafter added three dimensional Edge Beading with White Seed Beads to both sides of the dragger.
Near the bottom, the crafter attached two Cowrie Shells and a small beaded tube.  The tube has a multicolored diagonal design made with cut Seed Beads and a few colored parrot feathers at the bottom.  At the bottom of the dragger, you will find a larger beaded tube made with cut Seed Beads in zigzag designs.  Below this, the crafter attached Deerskin Leather cut into fringe and a bundle of  black and white horsehair.
Native American Straight Dancers can include a Dragger as part of their dance clothes.  Crafters make draggers from Otter Fur or wool.  They decorate them with brooches, conchos or beadwork.   This Concho Dragger Stamped German Silver came from a collection.  It measures 66 inches long overall.  The width is 1.75 inches at the top and 0.75 inches wide at the bottom.  The smaller beaded tube measures 1.5 inches long.  The larger one measures 2.75 inches long.  The horse hair section hangs 5 inches down from the bottom.  A previous owner wore this accessory.  You will see signs of wear.  It is in very good, wearable condition.  One of a Kind!
