Lot of Conch Shell Conchos

SOLD Conch Shells are difficult to find, so don't miss this Conch Shell Lot!   This lot comes with large Conch Shell conchos and a heart shaped pendant.  You get 3 conchos that measure 2 inches in diameter,  2 conchos that measure 2.25 inches in diameter, and a single 1.5 inch heart shaped pendant.   These larger pieces have a more pronounced concave shape. They vary in thickness. The conchos come with two holes drilled in the middle.  The heart shape has a single hole at the top and a metal bail attached.
Beautiful shades of pink and white appear on the front of each item.  On the back you will see the natural ridges of the shell.  You can use the Conchos as a focal point or as a decorative addition to your clothing or accessories.  The heart is ready to add to your next necklace.  One of the conchos has the remains of a sticker on it, which will come off.
Pink conch shells come from the queen conch (pronounced "konk"), a large marine mollusk with a scientific name Strombus gigas. Many people are attracted to their distinctive and attractive pink coloring. Crafters use queen conch shells in various decorative and ornamental applications.  They are particularly popular as souvenirs and in traditional crafts.  Due to overharvesting and habitat destruction, queen conch populations have declined in some areas. In response to these concerns, there are regulations and conservation efforts in place to protect these mollusks and their shells.
