Basket Cherokee Style with Handle
This beautiful Cherokee Style Basket with Handle is made with wood splints in a twill plaited design in dyed red, orange, blue and natural colors. You can still see the bright colors on the bottom side of the basket, however the sides have faded a bit. The basket has a sturdy handle that has some breaks in the splints that wrap it.The basket opening measures 6.5" in diameter and stands 5" tall at the rim. With the handle this piece is 9" tall.
