Antique Stone Club

This Antique Stone Club features a pointed stone head.  We believe the crafter made this club around the turn of the 20th century in a Northern Plains War Club style.  We do not know what the stone is, but it is likely typical of Clubs made during this time.
You will love the old Seed Beads that the crafter wrapped around the wood handle.  He or she used Silver Lined Clear, White Center Red, Cheyenne Pink, Cobalt Blue, Arapaho Green, Crow Pale Blue, and Mustard Seed Beads.  The crafter covered the handle with a checked fabric. You can see this fabric at the bottom of the handle and that it is a little frayed.
The Head of the Club does not sit securely on the handle.  For this reason, we recommend you use it for display and not carry it as an accessory.
The Club measures approximately 22" long. The Club head measures 6" long and  7" in circumference at the widest part.
