Add this Miniature Basket Northwest Coast Purse to your collection! This Bear grass Basket features red, green and brown colored wave designs with a braided handle. You will notice that one side is faded by the sun. Northwest baskets are known for their intricate designs and skilled weaving techniques. The baskets are often decorated with symbolic designs. The designs are created using a technique known as twining, in which two or more weavers interlace strands of material around a central core.
This Miniature Purse stands just 2″ tall x 4″ long.
