Burgundy Selvedge Edge Wool Concho Dragger with 16 Brass Conchos

You will love this Concho Dragger Burgundy Wool!   The crafter made this dragger with Selvedge Edge Burgundy colored wool.  He used Deerskin Leather Lacing to attach the 16 graduated Brass Conchos .   The rings you see in the photos are not dents.  None of the conchos are dented. The crafter added three dimensional edge beading with White Seed Beads to the sides and bottom of the dragger.  The crafter included a blue cord at the top as a tie to attach the dragger.

The top three conchos measure 3 inches in diameter.  The concho sizes graduate down to 1 inch in diameter.   One of a Kind!

Native American Straight Dancers can include a Dragger as part of their dance clothes.  Crafters make draggers from Otter Fur or wool.  They decorate them with brooches, conchos or beadwork.   This Concho Dragger with Beaded Cuff came from a collection.  It measures 58 inches long overall.  The width is 3.25 inches at the top and 2.25 inches wide at the bottom.  You will see the selvedge edge stripes at the top and bottom of the piece.    A previous owner wore this Concho Dragger Burgundy Wool.  You will see signs of wear and repairs.  The conchos are in good condition, with some scratches and tarnish.  You will find this item in good, wearable condition.  One of a Kind!
