Horn Club Reproduction

This early 20th-century Horn Club Reproduction ceremonial style club showcases exceptional attention to detail and historical authenticity. Designed as a Warrior Dance Club, it features dual steer horns securely mounted to each side of a 28-inch wooden handle.  The crafter meticulously wrapped it in hand-stitched leather.

To elevate its visual impact, the maker applied a beaded design in Pony Trader Blue, Black, and White seed beads from the top of the handle halfway down. This intricate pattern not only reflects traditional aesthetics but also adds vibrant contrast to the natural leather tones. At the junction where the horns meet, a secondary beaded wrap unifies the two horn heads, emphasizing ceremonial balance and spiritual symbolism.

Enhancing both comfort and grip, the lower section of the handle incorporates red wool wrapping, while a durable wool wrist strap allows for secure handling during dynamic movement. Measuring approximately 28 inches in length and 11.5 inches across the horns, this handcrafted piece stands out as both a collector’s item and a tribute to Native American-inspired ceremonial design.

Whether displayed in a historical collection or used for educational interpretation, this horn club offers a powerful connection to early American craftsmanship and traditional warrior symbolism.

One of a Kind!

A horn club with two heads is a striking and culturally rich artifact, often associated with Native American ceremonial or warrior traditions. One notable example is a Two Head Horn Club featuring steer horns mounted on both ends of a wooden handle wrapped in dried rawhide. These clubs were typically used in warrior dances or ceremonial displays, rather than for combat.
