This Gold Beaded Broom Holder Whimsy features a raised floral design on gold material with drops on the sides and bottom. The pieces has beadwork around the edges and some sequins and basket beads in the design. There is a beaded loop on the top for hanging. This Whimsy measures about 12 inches long and 5 inches at the widest section The pocket is 4 inches x 1.5 inches at the opening.
This is a classic example of Beaded Whimsy tourist souvenirs. Native American crafters in the border regions between Canada and the United States at the turn of the 20th century created many of these whimsies for the tourist trade.
