Wedding Vases

Pottery Double Spout Vase

Several Native American peoples, especially in the Southwest,  have used Wedding vases as part of a marriage ceremony. One spout represents the husband, the other the wife. The looped handle represents the unity of marriage.  A special beverage was added to the vase and the couple drank from it.  Wedding Vases make a special gift for a new couple.
We carry vases crafted by Sioux artisans in Rapid City South Dakota.  The artists sign each pottery piece that they make.  Each one comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a card describing the tradition of the Wedding Vase.
Our large vase measures 9" tall  x 5.5" at the widest point.  The colors may vary from the picture.
