1950’s Birchbark container
This small 1950’s Basket- Birchbark with Lid is a classic example of hand‑worked birchbark. The artist secured the container with traditional spruce‑root stitching, giving the piece both strength and authenticity. They crafted the lid from two layers of birchbark, creating a sturdy cover that lifts completely off the container for easy use. This mid‑century vintage piece offers classic Woodland craftsmanship and makes a nice addition to your basket or birchbark collection.
This container stands approx. 2.75 inches tall and measures approx. 3.5 inches long. You will find it in very good condition.
