Bible Cover- Beaded

Add this unique Leather Bible Cover – Beaded to your collection and enjoy its beautifully crafted design. The crafter made it with Deerskin Leather.  Then they created a circular beaded pattern on both the front and back using 13/0 Seed Beads in White, Green, and Red.  They also added three dimensional edge beading around the outside.

A handwritten note from the previous owner documents its age and traditional use, adding valuable provenance and making this piece especially desirable to collectors.  The writer indicates that the cover was 50 – 60 years old when the note was written.  This cover measures 8″ long x 6″ wide.  It remains in good condition. You will see beads have been lost from the edges.
