Basket Vintage Acorn
This beautiful handmade Basket Vintage Acorn with Ring Handle can hold your yarn while you knit! The attached lid has a hole in it. Your yarn will feed through the hole while the basket keeps the ball from rolling around. It comes with an ash splint wrapped handle so you can anchor the basket to something so it doesn’t move while you are knitting.
The basket maker used natural colored Ash splints and braided sweetgrass to make this basket. You will see that the splints on the handle are unraveling from one end and the handle has come apart. Some of the splints on the Basket Vintage Acorn have also broke apart. It measures 5.5″ high with the lid on. The lid measures 5″ in diameter. The hole in the lid measures .75″ in diameter. The opening of the Basket itself measures 5″ in diameter.
