This striking Northern Plains style Knife Sheath- Rawhide Painted features bright hand painted geometric designs. The crafter made with with rawhide and used Braintanned Deerskin Leather Lacing to tie the open sides together. He left the loose ends to form fringe. You will see that the crafter painted designs on both sides. It comes with a knife measuring 14″ long overall with a 8.5″ long blade. The sheath measures 11″ × 3.75″. It is powerful piece for collectors, educators, or ceremonial display. You will see signs of wear. This Knife Sheath still has lot of life left to it.
