Traditional Otter Fur Dance Stick

Use this 18″ Otter Fur Dance Stick at your next Powwow or display it proudly in your home. The artisan made two peyote stitch beaded sections using 11/0 seed beads in a colorful geometric design featuring greasy yellow, bone, red, blue, green, and white seed beads. Then he added two 2″ pieces and one 3″ piece of otter fur to enhance its appearance.

This Dance Stick measures approximately 18″ long. The two beaded sections measure 5″ and 5.5″ long. With its vibrant beadwork, natural materials, and skilled craftsmanship, this distinctive piece makes an excellent addition to a collection, regalia display, or Powwow outfit.

Native American dancers use individually crafted and decorated sticks to enhance the energy of their dance. They design their Dance Sticks according to the type and purpose of their dance. Collectors often display Dance Sticks in their homes.  It is ready to use or display!
