Peyote‑Stitch Macaw Scalp Feather

This Scalp Feather – Peyote Stitch features two macaw feathers and a 1.5‑inch beaded rosette made with 10/0 seed beads in yellow, orange, white, navy, light blue, and red. The crafter edge‑beaded the rosette in transparent navy.

They added a 2‑inch peyote stitch at the bottom of the feathers and finished it with ermine accents. Each macaw feather measures 7 inches, and the full piece measures 12 inches overall.

The lower section is thread‑wrapped in colors that match the peyote stitch and rosette. The crafter added accent feathers in burgundy, yellow, and green at the base of the blue macaw feathers. These colors create a vivid, balanced presentation. At the top, they added another white leather dot and a yellow accent feather to complete the design.
